Team

Before launching People & Stone, Mr. Alami Sounni was CEO for 9 years of of Alhif Management, one of the leading fund management companies in Morocco specialized in hotel development. Prior to this experience, Mr. Alami Sounni Rachid was the Investment Director of Colony Capital in Morocco, spearheading a 660$ million resort development for 2 years.
Mr. Alami Sounni joined BMCE Group , Group in December 2003 as Senior Asset Manager to participate in the creation of Actif Capital, the first investment fund specialized in real estate in Morocco.
Three years later, he was promoted to the position of CEO of Actif Management, a subsidiary specialized in real estate and hotel development. In 2000, Mr. Alami Sounni created BATI CONCEPT, a company specialized in project management assistance and advice to investors. After studying at ESTP and ISTBTP where he obtained an engineering degree, Mr Alami Sounni completed his university studies with a master's degree specialized in project management and real estate management at ESTP.
Mr Alami Sounni is also a founding member of Morocco’s National Association of Tourist Investors (ANIT).

An engineer , by training who started his career in a leading company in real estate project management, Mr. RAHMOUN Youssef has participatedfor more than 13 years in the management of various hotel development operations throughout the Kingdom (Accord, Baccarat, HYATT ...).

Youssef found the perfect fit within the People & Stone family and strengthened the team with his strong skills, transversal approaches and attention to details. At the same time, Youssef completed his skills in the building industry by acquiring knowledge in sustainable construction (HQE Referent Certification) and reinforced his knowledge in Corporate Finance (ICCF® - HEC Paris).

Zakaria SADIK, is an auditor and Engineer in Energy and Environment. , He manages an environmental and energy consulting firm for resilient and sustainable buildings and urban spaces and teaches in architecture schools in Rabat and Casablanca. Mr. Sadik and is the former president and advisor of the He manages an environmental and energy consulting firm for resilient and sustainable buildings and urban spaces and teaches in architecture schools in Rabat and Casablanca. Mr. Sadik and is the former president and advisor of the Council, Zakaria has a strong command of the use and creation of all concrete levers necessary to promote healthy and comfortable living and working spaces at a low economic and environmental cost.
Passionate about Bioclimatic architecture and a certified Passive House Designer, he advises project owners from villas to high-rise buildings in the efficiency and common standards of sustainable construction. With an experience that covers France, Morocco and West Africa, Zakaria is aware of the importance of the local context, issues and future challenges in choosing solutions adapted to the local culture.
During his professional career, Zakaria has held responsibilities within a public project owner in France, in a multidisciplinary design office, an international control office before landing in a human-sized firm of engineers, architects and urban planners who support Zakaria in his daily missions.

Philippe Gauguier is a founding partner of In Extenso Tourism, Culture & Hospitality, launched in 1995. With a background in hotel management and solid experience in the various departments of a hotel, he managed the development and operational launch of a French hotel chain, before dedicating his efforts to consulting
In addition to the hotel industry, which remains his field of choice, he is involved in the different phases of development of various touristic components, whether it be health tourism (thermals, thalassotherapy or SPA), golf, casino and finally business tourism. From a career as a marketing analyst, he quickly evolved towards an expertise in property valuation, as a member of RICS.
A man of the field, he manages all organization related missions and reviews of the respect of the principles of internal control and the drafting of operating procedures. He shares his activity between francophone Africa and France, with numerous missions, for more than 20 years, on the entire Moroccan territory, of which he is particularly fond of.

Wiam SAMIR is an engineer and project manager with proven experience in sustainable development. She has developed her international professional network through her involvement with NGOs such as the Morocco Green Building Council. After an experience in a renowned control office and the management of the LEED certification of the first IGH in Morocco (CFC First Tower).
Wiam Samir was called upon to support developers of various ranges of projects. She manages a diverse portfolio ranging from hotels and palaces to high-rise office buildings and residential units, in addition to Morocco’s largest university campus.
A stickler for detail and a visionary, Wiam advises her clients on the various improvements of built environments. The various professional accreditations she holds are a testament her skills: HQE, LEED, WELL, Edge and BREEAM. Her passion for sustainable development bloomed during her academic years, she holds a master's degree in "Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment" from the University of Cambridge, which she obtained with honors for her research work on zero-carbon housing in England. This master's degree completed her training in Engineering and Management at Al Akhawayn University and the University of Washington in Seattle.
